Having my thoughts wandering between Criminal Minds Season 10, the lated season on a relatively new show which might be refreshing, and The Good Wife Season 1, the well-known old show which I might have watched almost three times already, it turned out I've made the righteous decision, or the correct design for me to be precise, to go with the latter, because, as factually proven again and again, a well-made show of great quality in terms of story telling and character building, no matter how old it is, it stands out on its own, firm and sound with beautiful glow.
I have no doubt, especially to the large fan base of Criminal Minds, it is an interesting show with refreshing ideas or so. However, I can't help but wonder, how come the criminals' behaviours, supposably sophisticated and outstandingly unusual, have seemed so easy to be predicted after just seeing the few initial acts of them.
Robert McKee said, a good story telling has the power designed from inside out, rather than from outside. The Good Wife has seconded it.
