Too noisy for me.
It does not matter to get married or not. What matters is to get what you want at the price you are willing to pay. I like the part where Jo argues for royalty and asks for what she wants instead of accepting what is given, a contrast with that of the beginning.
Loving and being loved are two very different things. As the object of love, which is a kind of spontaneous human feelings, does the one being loved has anything to do with it? Except for to accept passively what is offered like a pet. Personally, I always take it as an embodiment of weakness, incapability and irresponsibility for one’ s own life.
PS: Can it be more obvious that Laurie is not a good match for Jo at all?
