I am fascinated about the way screenwriters rewrite the story which has already been complicated and intoxicated. Adapting a cleverly-written and wildly-read novel is an extremely difficult task but in this case, the magic is to extract the most important scenes and the most important mood swings and then link them together. Enough for the screenwriter, many thanks and praise should be given to the Director David Yates who literally destroyed Harry Potter since he took the responsibility to present it to the world. But this time, perhaps due to the prolonged length (part 1 & part 2), he finally find his own way to tell the story and his own understanding about the relationship between three teenagers. His humour is sometimes very subtle but very easy to identify and very English.

When death and danger becomes the main theme of the movie, humour becomes necessary. For instance, the scene in Department of Magic is hilarious as the director acutely aware the face that even though they drink Poly Juice and turn into three grown ups, they are still 17-year teenagers and will behave like teenagers. And on top of that, no one was familiar with the place and the majority of the witches in there are cruel Death Eaters, so it's very normal to behave weirdly and felt frightened. The scene where Harry invited Hermione for a dance when a song comes out of the radio is just perfect. It's very reasonable to have fun for a moment and temporarily forget about the fact that they are in fetal danger and are fighting against the darkest witch ever. I love Daniel's stupid dancing, his highly unnatural movements, it feels very childish but very touching--A boy who had been through so many dangers and had so much grieves deserves the little happiness (though this has nothing to do with the original novel). The most interesting punchline to me is when Harry propose to go to the Department of Magic, he asks:" It is mental, isn't it?" Hermione replies:"yes, totally metal." Ron continues:" It's bloody mental, but the whole world is mental."

I have to say that I am impressed with the opening scene where three characters did what they can do to on one hand protect their family and on the other hand prepare themselves for the battle. It is really hard to see Hermione modifying her parent's memories about her. when her smiling pictures fade away, my heart swells. The places they are hiding is stunningly beautiful and the scary scenes are well-designed because when I am thinking I am ready for a shock, it always happened next minute (which turns out to shock me in hell). Overall, as I was talking to my mom, it is a fantastic motion picture and a fantastic adaptation of J.K. Rowling's final novel. The storyline is not as important as other movies, so the most fascinating part becomes the special effects and brilliant make-ups, props settings and brilliant Daneil, Rubert and Emma.

This motion picture is entertaining and just for entertainment, so enjoy it and have a good night to all.
