-"Just because my dreams are not same as yours doesn't mean they are unimportant. I want a family and a home and I'm not scared of working and struggling, but I want to do it with John."
Jo在Beth去世后对妈妈说
"Women have minds and souls, as well as hearts, ambition and talent, as well as beauty, and I'm being sick of being told that love is all a woman is fit for. But...I'm so lonely."
