2. A dialogue between Eliot and Jack, a student of Anna.
Eliot:lt's for Anna. She belongs here.
Jack:Because she's dead?
Eliot:No, because there's no life left in her .
Jack:What do you mean?
Eliot:Don't you see?l'm the only one that can see all these corpses wandering around aimlessly.All they do is piss and shit,suffocating us with their stench,doing nothing with their lives,taking the air away from those that actually want to live.l have to bury them all.l have no choice.
3. Eliot:What did you really want from life?
Anna:l wanted to be happy.
Eliot:Happy. You all say you wanted to be happy.What does that mean?Don't you understand that's the whole point?
Anna:l don't know.
Eliot:Yes, you do.You're just too scared to admit it to yourself. Anna:l don't want to talk about this anymore.l just want it to be over.
Eliot:What did you want from life?
Anna:l don't fucking know.
Eliot:Yes, you do. What did you want?
Anna:l wanted love.
Eliot:You had love. Paul loved you.
Anna:You don't understand.l wanted to love.l was too scared.My mother...when l was little l learned that...loving someone meant getting hurt.So l decided not to love anyone.so l'd never get hurt again.l kept pushing Paul away.He thought l didn't love him.
Eliot:Did you?
Anna:He was the only one l loved.But l could never say it.And then he stopped loving me.
Eliot:What would you do if you had another chance?
Anna:l don't know.
4.When Anna was given the last chance to make a choice between life and death, she chose the latter.
Eliot: You all say you are scared of death. The truth is you are more scared of life.
Anna:I'm glad I am dead. I'm glad it's over.
