I admit, my motivation to watch this documentary is quite intentional as I need to find some resources to get my goddamn paper down. Then, this artistic and sentimental peice totally blew my mind away. I like the way how Nathaniel relate Louis Kahn's masterful architectures to his chaotic private lives and finally presents a vivid and janus-faced Louis, who insisted his artisty in architecture while showed his constant interests in women.

Interesting to notice that almost every interviewer couldn't help crying when they talked about Louis. Those scenes are heartwarming and make the whole piece even more emotional - maybe that is the right way to appreciate this film - it is just son's sincere memorial toward to his famous father. Moreover, in this spiritual journey, he found out more things rather than the facts about his father. Like he said in the end, "I felt at the moment, I was settled and eventually rooted".
