This is a documentary about GOT final season. However, while I'm watching it, I feel like being a mouse running into a maze. I don't know where I come from and where I'm heading for. I don' t get its logic line and what the key point is.
Apparently it accords to the time line of shooting. But it chooses a few staffs and the stuntmen behind the scene. I wish the documentary could be divided in some parts with caption then I can know better how the particular jobs are done, instead of mixing them together. It's just my thoughts. Maybe the documentary director just wants to focus on showing how big the filming is and how GOT affects the staff especially for the unknown ones.
I totally understand the filming is a HUGE project, involving thousands of people. It must require a lot of cowork and push everyone to his limits. Set, make-up, costume, crowd actors, project execuation were all great. They did extraordinary work. In spite of it, it can't turn down the disappointment of most audiences for the final season, which can't be to blame on the staff. If it has to be to blame, it should be the writers and the directors, 'cause they are the men in charge.
It's really hard and rare that a magnificent and sophisticated series prevails all over the wolrd and lasts 8 years. Only if there went a fully demonstrated plots and more convincing end of the main characters, that would be perfect. It would take 2 seasons to go at least, I guess. We can do nothing but to wait for George Martin's final book. Finger crossed.
