每当飞天德闪亮登场的时候，总会以"I am the terror that flaps in the night!" 宣告自己的出现，但在不同剧集里他的登场宣言也各种变体：

飞天德的第二句话往往把自己比作某种讨人嫌的东西，或者是接一个无厘头的比喻句，最后以 "I am Darkwing Duck!" 结尾。中间的那个句子有：
