One middle-aged woman, one teenager girl.

The whole scene is surrounded by gloominess and darkness.

The woman Kelly is a prostitute and the girl is wandering on the street for some reasons.

Then are all unhappy and they encounter with each other.

Kelly wants to bring the girl to Brighton to satisfy a guy with pedophilia.

Kelly is poor and struggles for money.

On the train, they chat, staring at the scenery outside.

Not so many words, but they smile at each other.

In Brighton, the girl throws the stone barefooted, not afraid of the coldness.

She is still a child, she will be happy for an ice cream, will lie for her age.

Even when being asked whether a virgin or not, she shows calmness and coldness, but her expression tells innocence.

When being kissed by the old man, she was scaring to death and fought back.

Kelly couldn’t bear it, she helped the girl to escape, the man was hurt by the knife.

Kelly loves money and sells her body for money, but she cannot bear a kid being hurt by an old man.

Then the old man’s son appears, he intends to kill Kelly and the girl.

But to my surprise, he kills his subordinates because somebody needs to pay for the death.

Why? He watches his father dying but takes no action; does that mean he has already unsatisfied with his father?

The film has little words, but the word “fucking” always appears, maybe it is the correct attitude towards life.
