Sometimes, I really can't tell the differences between Communism and religions. They all brainwash you, and prevent you from critical thinking. As an individual who was brainwashed by Communism, I deeply dislike the way religions work. Just watched the movie Martha Marcy May Marlene. Martha is a girl who was brainwashed by a group of sick people and forced living with them for a year. When she returns to the normal world, she finds difficulties to adjust herself in. So I'd rather to be a free thinking individual with no religious belief instead of brainwashed by religion. BTW, this movie is highly recommended to people with strong religious belief.
