Apparently, a conscious choice was made by the film-maker to keep the ending away from the audience until, well, the end. Even though one couldn't understand why it is necessary, since the whole Brazile knew what to expect, through news media, months before the film's release. I would have preferred the treatment of "Capturing the Friedmans", that gets the suspense out of the way from the very beginning, so that we can focus on the psychology and the interpretation of reality and its portrayal.
As a result, the endless monologues by the witnesses often sound like misplaced digressions to this viewer, which in turn annoys me. But overall, still worth seeing.
