Scully and Mulder head off to Georgia when there are reports of people disappearing around a local lake. Scully isn't sure why they're getting involved until she sees a highway sign advertising their own version of the Loch Ness monster called Big Blue. The latest victim is a park ranger, giving the FBI jurisdiction, but Scully thinks it's all nonsense. The killings continue and Mulder thinks there something very real out there.
