Isumi Sakuraba (Koki Tanaka) is a university student with a baby face and short stature. His speciality is cooking. Due to his baby face, he is mistaken for a minor and almost taken to jail by Police Officer Kyosuke Amasawa (Hideya Tawada). Isumi Sakuraba shows his ID to him to prove his age and clear up the misunderstanding. Later, Isumi Sakuraba meets Police Officer Kyosuke Amasawa again in front of the convenience store where he works as a part-timer. Kyosuke Amasawa becomes a regular at the convenience store. Whenever he sees Isumi Sakuraba at the store, he asks for recommendations on what to eat for a midnight snack. They become familiar with each other.
