In Rubin and Karow's new case, a barrel filled with acid is found by construction workers. It contains the remains of a dead body. Who is the victim and how did he get into the barrel? The prime suspect is quickly found. Saed Merizadi (Husam Chadat) owns a small dental lab in Neukölln. After their initial investigations, Rubin and Karow encounter a tragic family history of people who are living in Berlin illegally. Meanwhile Karow ventures out on his own.
