Plot Summary:'Jenter' follows the Norwegian teenagers Iselin, Mahsa and their friends through 1 1/2 years of junior high. Best friends Iselin and Mahsa are growing apart. Iselin is keeping to herself, unable to share her inner feelings with her friends, whereas the rebel Mahsa is aggressive towards her teachers whenever she cares to show up. It's a brutal story of what it's like to grow up nowadays, with boyfriends, friendship, parents, school and alcohol.
