Initially, I had no idea who Agatha Christie really was and what the original work was all about, and I was even poised to see something frightening and thrilling come out before the plot unfolded. Yet not until watching episode one did I realize that what I had worried about was not a worry. In fact, the storyline is, to my mind, not much of a thriller, yet it hasn't failed to mislead me about the real murderer who killed Rachel Argyle (I thought the housemaid did it but virtually she didn't). That's why I couldn't help but give this BBC adaptation a four out of five stars.
