Plot Summary:The story of an aging man - sick, tired and life-struck, arriving to the borderland shortly after the end of the war looking for a man who fought and destroyed his family during the war. He meets a young German woman whom the revolutionary guards have prepared for the last remnant of human honor. She is alone, without a family or a child, hiding from the people who come to the frontier to loot and promote self-imposed order. The two get together, but before they can say their names, everything will end up tragically.
