丹佛，最后的恐龙主演：Pat Fraley/杰克·安琪 Jack Angel/Adam Carl,
某个春末夏初时节，生活在加州的少年马里奥（Cam Clarke 配音）、杰里米（Adam Carl 配音）、歇治（Cam Clarke 配音）和沃利（Adam Carl 配音）正恣情享受现代都市的快乐青春生活。杰里米为了他的自然历史测试参观了当地一家自然博物馆，好伙伴们和一群死对头起了冲突。他们躲在博物馆旁边的工地时，意外发现了一枚蓝色的巨蛋，接着从蛋里孵化出一头蓝色的盔龙（Corythosaurus）。伙伴们兴奋异常，为这头聪明伶俐、可爱幽默的恐龙取名丹佛。丹佛和喜欢他的孩子们在一起经历了各种各样有趣的事，与此同时以莫顿（Brian Cummings 配音）为代表的贪心成年人则时刻图谋抓住丹佛牟利。丹佛是一个只属于孩子们的秘密，是他们快乐的源泉…… 本片由美法两国联合制作，1988~1990期间共制作两季。
