一个郁郁不得志的科学家为了生活被迫成为了一名气象播音员，但是一次外景主持发生的意外事件却让他的人生从此开始了新的篇章。可惜这次意外事件带给他名利的同时，也夺去了他好友的生命，因此他决定重操旧业，探寻事情的原委。最终他发现原来是美军秘密研发的新武器——气候武器，由于过于强大而失控，造成了这一次很大的灾难。
