哈姆雷特（皮尔卡-佩卡·彼得柳斯 Pirkka-Pekka Petelius 饰）的父亲遭到了其妻子的谋杀，在杀死了丈夫后，哈姆雷特的母亲和情人克劳斯（艾斯可·萨尔米宁 Esko Salminen 饰）正大光明的走到了一起，两人掌管了原本属于哈姆雷特父亲的企业。阴魂不散的父亲现身在哈姆雷特的面前，希望儿子能够帮自己报仇。 野心勃勃的哈姆雷特开始了他的复仇计划，在向上攀爬的过程中，哈姆雷特渐渐失去了人性，令他的恋人奥菲利亚（卡蒂·奥廷宁 Kati Outinen 饰）永远的离开了他。最终，哈姆雷特成功的铲除了克劳斯，夺得了企业的掌控权，但属于他的复仇也在渐渐的逼近着他。
