在城市的不起眼角落，经营着名叫樱屋的粗点心小店。小店上一代的主人已经去世，如今店主的孙子太郎（小田切让 饰）继承了这里。虽然这只是家月营业额仅三万元左右小店，但太郎仍尽心和奶奶（八千草薰 饰）守护着这里，守护他们一成不变平凡的生活。三十多岁形同废柴的太郎，日常最爱干的就 是和啃老损友三枝（胜地凉 饰）、刚（前野朋哉 饰）、大哥（岛田久作 饰）等蹲在后院吃零食打发无聊的时光。青梅竹马礼子（尾野真千子 饰）离婚后回到了这里，两人若即若离，羞涩暧昧。 相识的人三三两两来到小店，这里对太郎以及其他人来说，都有着无法一言道尽的意义……
