菲律宾华人国父何塞.黎刹的传记片。 何塞.黎刹1861年出生在菲律宾内湖省卡兰巴镇，后来留学欧洲，1887年用西班牙文写成《社会毒瘤》一书，揭露西班牙殖民主义者对菲律宾人的残酷统治，轰动一时。何塞.黎刹于1892年从欧洲返回菲律宾，领导反殖民主义者的武装革命，争取独立，1896年12月30日在马尼拉被枪决。
