剧情介绍
美国黑人特洛伊（丹泽尔·华盛顿 饰）曾是一名棒球希望新星，却因为一次意外的抢劫杀人案而入狱，当时美国职业棒球大联盟种族隔离政策还未完全废除，黑人登场机会很少，加上特洛伊出狱后年纪也大了，因此他的棒球生涯就此结束，沦为匹兹堡的一名环卫工。该片还讲述了特洛伊与妻子、儿子和朋友的复杂关系。Troy Maxson makes his living as a sanitation worker in 1950s Pittsburgh. Maxson once dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, but was deemed too old when the major leagues began admitting black athletes. Bitter over his missed opportunity, Troy creates further tension in his family when he squashes his son's chance to meet a college football recruiter.
