剧情介绍
故事发生在一个名为切斯特磨坊的小镇上，一个从天而降且不可摧毁的“穹顶”断绝了小镇和外界的一切联系，同时也终结了小镇维持多年的平静假象。很快，小镇居民们便看清了他们如今已成“瓮中之鳖”的现实，而随着资源的不断消耗，混乱不可避免的发生了。在老警长意外去世后，维持小镇治安的重 担落到了年轻的副警长琳达（娜塔丽·马丁内兹 Natalie Martinez 饰）肩上，而议员大吉姆（迪恩·诺里斯 Dean Norris 饰）则从中看到了成为“统治者”的大好机会。 一些奇怪的症状出现在了磨坊镇的四个孩子们的身上，在树林里，他们发现了一个小型的穹顶并且成为了它的保护者，因为穹顶似乎在向他们传达某一些讯息。当犯罪和危险的气息在小镇上渐渐弥漫开来之时，越来越多的迹象显示，穹顶选择磨坊镇，这并不是一个巧合。An invisible and mysterious force field descends upon a small actual town of Chester's Mill, Maine, USA, trapping residents inside, cut off from the rest of civilization. The trapped townspeople must discover the secrets and purpose of the "dome" or "sphere" and its origins, while coming to learn more than they ever knew about each other and animals too.
