剧情介绍
Oscar Grant（迈克尔·B·乔丹 Michael B. Jordan 饰）和女友Sophina（梅罗妮·迪亚兹 Melonie Diaz 饰）还有四岁的女儿一起生活在奥克兰。2008年12月31日，是Oscar母亲的生日。早上，他像往常一样送女儿上幼儿园，送女友上班。Oscar卖过大麻、入过狱，因为经常迟到被炒了鱿鱼，但他准备在新的一年到来之际努力开始一段新的人生。晚上，大家欢聚一堂，庆祝他母亲的生日，同时庆祝新年的到来。结束和家人的聚会，Oscar带着Sophina还有一群好友，搭上地铁前往旧金山看烟花。2009年1月1日，新年的第一个早晨，狂欢了一夜的他们搭上回家的地铁，Oscar却在地铁上遇到了以前一起呆过监狱的“故人”，他的出现，改变了所有人..... 本片根据真实故事改编。This is the true story of Oscar, a 22-year-old Bay Area resident who wakes up on the morning of December 31, 2008 and feels something in the air. Not sure what it is, he takes it as a sign to get a head start on his resolutions: being a better son to his mother, whose birthday falls on New Year's Eve, being a better partner to his girlfriend, who he hasn't been completely honest with as of late, and being a better father to T, their beautiful 4 year old daughter. He starts out well, but as the day goes on, he realizes that change is not going to come easy. He crosses paths with friends, family, and strangers, each exchange showing us that there is much more to Oscar than meets the eye. But it would be his final encounter of the day, with police officers at the Fruitvale BART station that would shake the Bay Area to its very core, and cause the entire nation to be witnesses to the story of Oscar Grant.
